Surveys Paid - Get Paid Taking Surveys At Home!

Surveys Paid - Get Paid Taking Surveys At Home!

Every year large companies spend billions of dollars on surveys and market research to help learn what products people like you want to buy! They NEED your opinion to help improve their products which will help them make more money and are willing to pay you for your help!

The best part is that ANYONE can take paid surveys. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, man or woman, or what language you speak! You WILL get paid for your opinion!

You may have heard of "paid surveys" before but you should be careful to work with only reputable companies. There are a lot of companies out there that promise you the world but can't deliver enough paid surveys for you to make a good income.

That is why SurveysPaid.com is so special, we have direct relationships with hundreds of the top research companies all over the world and they've asked us to help find people in United States of America to start taking paid surveys right away.

These are REAL checks that a new member sent us a photo of. He was so happy to start receiving checks within a week of joining that he emailed us a photo thanking us.

His first check was for $75 but he's told us that he's continued to receive checks every week and has made over $50,000 in his first year! We can't guarantee you'll make that much, but if you're not making at least $100 a day with this program, then the only excuse you can have is that you're turning down too many survey jobs.

The Best iPhone 4

The Best iPhone 4 Knockoff Yet

You might not believe it but this is the best iPhone 4 knockoff on Earth. We have seen several iPhone knockoffs since the day we started this phenomenal blog, and we can say that 8 out of 10 iPhone knockoffs are crappy in terms of software, they just do not have the qualifications to compare with iOS. They look very similar to the real deal, but the user experience is very bad. While we are thinking to give up on looking for an incredible one, we came across an amazing iPhone 4 look-alike which is powered by Android but look and act more like iOS. We are now recommending you to check out an 11-minute-long hands-on video (in English) after the break.

Yeah, it is made in China. We love it. Brought to us by GooApple, this iPhone 4 knockoff, GooApple 3G, is really a pretty badass. The specs? Well, the GooApple web site doesn’t tell us the phone specs, but we managed to check out more information from the Chinese web, and here’s what we know. It boasts a 3.5-inch capacitive display, 3G (WCDMA) connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 5 megapixel rear camera, and sports some form of Qualcomm CPU (probably 600Mhz). In terms of hardware, the phone measures 9.3mm in thickness, exactly the same as Apple’s iPhone 4. It comes with a stainless steel frame, and interestingly, the phone is situated between two glossy panels of aluminosilicate glass. And it has stereo speakers! And finally, the software. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo, and provides handy additional features, such as a WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth / USB tethering. Enough with the words, enjoy the photos below!

Oh, it does not support micro-SIM cards.

It has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Appearance is perfect, but how about its innards?

Too bad, we can’t see its battery capacity. Now, let’s compare it to a real iPhone 4.

From head to toe, both phones look exactly the same, except the logo on the back panel and the SIM card slots. Let’s look at its software whcih has been heavily skinned to look and feel just like Apple’s iOS.

The lock screen and the home screen.

Folders!
Multi-task!

The settings!

Messages!

The built-in Chinese pinyin input! Looks complicated.

Music player and cover flow! See the Genius and Shuffle icons?

iBooks wannabe!

Adding new contact!

Angry Birds!
Fruit Ninja! And you must see its weirdly awesome booting animation!

Wrap-up

Great work indeed from the Chinese once again. We hope you still remember the best iPhone 4 knockoff of 2010, the SoPhone. Both phones include an UI which works just like the real thing, but GooApple 3G seems to have a better processor and camera. The best thing of GooApple 3G is that it has a same appearance as the iPhone 4, the UI looks and works just like iOS! It’s not easy to differentiate it with the original, but for Apple fanboys, we think the the illusion will be broken when Android’s tell-tale window shade notification drawer is pulled down from the top of the screen. Cons? iOS 5 is waaayyyy more better, let’s hope there’s an update to catch up the new features! For its price and availability, it will be on sale at the gadget markets of Huaqiangbei, in Shenzhen, starting from June 20, for 1700 yuan (about $262). Price is not cheap, and we think the iPolice will look for the manufacturer since the phone features an Apple logo on the back panel and the booting animation.

Time and Place for Your Phone, etiquette

Gadget Etiquette:  Time & Place for Your Phone

I recently went on a camping trip with a close friend of mine for his bachelor party, and most of the guys there were diehard geeks. The interesting thing was the different views we all had on whether or not we should have our iPhones (and the one poor Blackberry) on us during the trip or if it should be a gadget free time. In the end we decided it was beneficial to have our phones with us while camping, but it does raise some important points to remember.

Know Your Audience

There are no set rules about when and where you should have you phone or gadgets on, but it’s important to understand your audience. If you’re out for dinner with your family, and you haven’t gotten a chance to have a meal out as a family in a while, that might not be the best time to pull out your phone and start going through your emails.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, we have an event in London on the first Wednesday of every month called Geek Dinner, where a large number of geeks get together to have fun, eat some good food and hang out together. If you’re here and don’t have your phone or tablet out, you’re a little out of place. The important thing to remember the context of where you are and make sure your gadget usage matches the situation

Airplane Mode

I read an article on MinimalistMac . The author explains that he went out to dinner with an old friend, and instead of turning off his phone, so that he wasn’t interrupted, he put it into Airplane Mode. Most phones have this feature, and to be honest, I’d never used it until I read this.
The idea behind using Airplane Mode is while you don’t want to be rude and have to take calls or check your messages, our phones are much more than just communication tools. We often have pictures and movies to share, fun games to tell your friends about, and many other things that are on our phone.
While it is possible to simply turn off the ringer or put it on vibrate, Airplane mode insures that there are no distractions from time with your guest and you will still be able to show them anything like pictures or movies from a recent vacation or something similar.

Just Put It Away

Sometimes, no matter how much we may want to, it is important to simply put away your phone or tablet or computer. There are many things in life that are more important than checking your Twitter updates or seeing new photos on Facebook.
It pains me that I actually have to say this but take out your headphones while you’re talking to someone. The music you are listening to can’t be that important that you can’t pull it out for 5 minutes to talk with someone. It really surprises me the number of people I see that actually do this on a day to day basis.
In the end, it all comes down to using your best judgement. If you think that it might seem rude that you’re using your phone in a certain situation, it probably is.

The design avoids the use of environmentally harmful materials such as PVC. The Restore also uses recycled, environmentally safe materials, and is energy-efficient in its power usage. The Restore is offered to Virgin Mobile customers with an inexpensive $25 per month unlimited data plan. Both phones are packaged with recyclable materials printed with soy ink, and digital user manuals can be accessed in lieu of printed booklets. The Eton Raptor really is a must have for any level of outdoor enthusiast. Its mono-crystalline solar panel charges a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery that can charge a cell phone (via USB) and power the Raptor’s digital AM/FM/WB tuner, altimeter, barometer, digital compass, LED flashlight and alarm clock. It’s weatherproof, so it can withstand the elements, including rain. Speaking of which, should the sun not be so plentiful, the Raptor can also be charged via DC adapter. And we’re just getting started;  the Raptor packs in several other nifty features that dad is sure to dig, too. (Did we mention it can be used as an iPod speaker?)
Available in three different colors at Amazon for about $122.00.
Green Genius Smart Surge Protectors
Accell-GreenGenius

Every entertainment center, home theater and computer station should be equipped with a high-quality surge suppressor anyway, but these advanced power strips from Accell won’t just protect Dad’s expensive equipment from power surges, outages or brown-outs, they will also put an end to the constant, unnecessary leaching of power that electronics are known to do while in “stand-by mode.” The Green Genius line provides clean, quiet power to devices when they need it, and cuts them off when they don’t. Its smart sensors detect when your TV or computer has been turned off and shuts down associated electronics such as DVD players, receivers and printers so they don’t sip power for hours while sitting unused. “Always on” outlets will provide constant power to devices like DVRs and wireless Internet routers that actually do need power all the time

iOS 5

iOS 5: BBM-style messaging, Android-style notifications, widgets, and more

If you’re wondering what’s in store for WWDC today, you may be able to take a little breather. We’ve just gotten info from a source detailing the pieces to come in the latest version of iOS, and while the news may not be completely surprising, Apple is definitely turning up the heat on competitors with its newest additions to the already-powerful OS. Want the details? Keep reading after the break.

Messaging

This one is a doozy, and will strike a crazy blow to RIM if true. The word is that Apple is readying its own MMS / SMS protocol which will be a native part of the phone. We’re not entirely clear on how this would work, but apparently it will be able to automatically identify iOS users and route the message accordingly. We’re told the functionality would be similar to third party applications like Textie, but with less fuss. If this pans out, both carriers and the folks in Waterloo should be very concerned about their ownership of messaging. This would be a game changing addition to the platform.

Notifications

This is the sore thumb that everyone has been drilling Apple on, and based on what we’re hearing, the pop-up pain is going away forever. Notifications will now be handled in drop down located at the top of the screen (similar to MobileNotifier, seen in the image above). Messages will appear and then slide back up in a unobtrusive manner, similar to webOS. There have been some leaked screenshots floating around the web for the last 24 hours, but those are not the real deal. The actual window looks more like a white, gradient Growl notification. But that’s not all…

Widgets / notification window

The notifications will be constantly accessible through a pulldown window which you reach by swiping at the top of the screen downward… just like Android. Not only will this screen house your recent notifications, but it will tout proper widgets like weather, stocks, and more. Sadly, we’re hearing that the weather icon will still not be live, meaning no matter what the weather actually is, you’ll see 73 degrees and sunny every time you look at it. An odd choice, but at least Apple has seen fit to add some glanceable info here.

Lock screen

Surprisingly, Apple is making significant changes to the lock screen as well. There will now be notifications shown on this screen with a small icon to the left of each notification — you can drag that icon as you would the unlock slider and you’ll be taken directly to the app itself (similar to TouchWiz for Android). You won’t get weather or stock widgets here, only notifications — and it’s not clear if upcoming calendar events or the like will be represented.
Of course, even through this info sounds like a real possibility for the new OS, we can’t be 100 percent sure. Luckily, we’ll be liveblogging the proceedings in just a little bit, so all should be revealed soon. Tune in here for the goods, and keep your sync cable handy.

10 Great Android Multiplayer Games

10 Great Android Multiplayer Games

With the possible exception of Angry Birds, games are more fun when you can play them with others.

The Android Market is full of great game apps, and there are quite a few multiplayer games in that number, as well — far more than when we first wrote about Android multiplayer games a year ago.
Here’s a quick roundup of the best Android pass-and-play and cross-platform multiplayer games, including MMOPRGs, action games, casual games and the ever-popular Words With Friends.

iAndroid

iAndroid – Android Simulator For iPhone

Android has been ported to the iPhone, and jailbreak apps like Bootlace have made it easier to install the ported Android OS on a jailbroken iPhone to experience Google’s mobile operating system. But unfortunately they’re only available for iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G users.

A new jailbreak app called iAndroid has recently been released, which simulates Android on a jailbroken iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.x.x.

iAndroid works like a native iPhone app that can be launched from iPhone's homescreen, which simulates the look and feel of Android OS. Since it is not a port, you won’t be able to download apps from the Android Market etc. But iAndroid comes with a few pre-installed apps such as Facebook, Web browser, Camera app, Twitter and the Phone app that work quite well.

You can checkout the cool demo video of iAndroid below:
If you’re curious to checkout the Android experience then install iAndroid for free from Cydia. It should also work on the iPod Touch running iOS 4.x.x.
Let us know what you think about iAndroid in the comments.

HTC Sensation 4G

HTC Sensation 4G hands-on impressions and benchmark testing

HTC Sensation 4G hands-on impressions and benchmark testing

We still have a few weeks to go before T-Mobile launches the HTC Sensation 4G here in the U.S. Market, but our friends at HTC were kind enough to send over a demo unit for us to play with. You probably have all the specs of the HTC Sensation memorized by now, but we’ll run through them one more time for those who many not be as obsessed with Android phones as we are.

The HTC Sensation 4G is the first phone in HTC’s lineup to feature Qualcomm’s new 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It also comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels), an 8 megapixel camera with dual-led flash capable of recording 1080p HD video, front-facing VGA camera for video chat, 768 MB of RAM, and a 1520 mAh batter all running on Android 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 3.0.
DSC_0351 DSC_0356 DSC_0358 DSC_0363 DSC_0365 DSC_0373 DSC_0376 DSC_0377 DSC_0383 DSC_0391 DSC_0392
Now that we have that out of the way, you’re probably wondering what the HTC Sensation 4G is really capable of. We’ve only had is for less than a day, but we immediately loaded up all our favorite 3D games from the Android Market. As expected, games like Gun Bros, Cordy, Angry Birds, Nova all played with buttery smoothness. We ran though a few benchmarks as well, but the numbers were not as impressive as we expected. We’re assuming the Sensation’s qHD display with 30% more pixels is the main culprit behind the low benchmark scores.

HTC Sense 3.0 is certainly a treat since Sense hasn’t really gotten any graphical updates in a while. In addition to new 3D graphics in the widgets and the phone’s fancy new unlock screen, the notifications bar has been modded to give you access to frequently used settings options. HTC has also includes HTC Watch for renting or buying TV shows and movies and HTC Listen which is very similar to the Amazon MP3 store.
The build quality of the HTC Sensation 4G is impeccable. Though HTC claims the Sensation features a uni-body aluminum casing, the implementation on this handset is different than what we have seen in the past.

The shell of the phone is completely removable, exposing the battery, SIM and microSD card slots when it is detached from the handset. The 4.3-inch display is covered in contoured Gorilla Glass which keeps the screen touching flat surfaces when placed face-down.

We’ll be testing out the camera, battery life, and daily performance over the next weeks. If you have any questions about the HTC Sensation 4G, be sure to let us know in the comments.
