Acer beTouch E140

It seems Acer is not focusing only on high-end Android phones, releasing also entry-level handsets, like the one you see in the picture. This upcoming Acer beTouch E140 is based on Android 2.2 Froyo and is on its way to stores in time for Christmas. It will be available for quite an affordable price.

Part of the beTouch series, the E140 was spotted in Italy, where it should be launched before the holidays. As for its specs, the device comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 3.2 MP camera without flash, 600MHz processor, Bluetooth, FM Radio, Infrared plus WiFi.

It will go on sale for €199; about $264 unlocked. Decent specs for an entry-level Android which is shipping Android 2.2 Froyo. It could be an attractive option for some customers in this period. Anyone?
