Fake Steve Jobs Promotes New Macbook Air Wannabe

After Apple launches the all-new Macbook Air, the knockoff makers today unveil their 10-inch Macbook Air wannabe, but it doesn’t get long lasting battery and flash storage. However, here we have a fake Steve Jobs introducing the machine. This is totally a piece of crap.

We don’t think we could call this machine as a MacBook Air knockoff. First, it does not come in 11 inch or 13 inch size, it just boasts a 10-inch display (1024 X 600), and powered by a crappy 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with GMA 3150 graphics (what??), includes only 1GB RAM, 160GB hard-drive (WTF?), 1.3 megapixels webcam (sorry, not FaceTime), HDMI output (yeah!), 2 USB ports, SD card slot and supports 3G. For its battery, you can choose to have 2200mAh or 3800mAh but you will never get up to 30 days of standby juice. The price? Just 1380 yuan (around $197). That’s waaaaaaaay cheaper than the original.

It does not have an Apple logo, just a clean lid. Oh, it weighs 1.1 kg and measures 276 x 188 x 26mm.

It’s equipped with a black chiclet keyboard which looks pretty weird to us. Not as nice as the original.

Here’s the silly ad on its website.
