New Panasonic LUMIX GF2 with full HD video recording confirmed

Its official, the latest Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF2 is now thought to be Panasonic’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens system camera. Small digital cameras but with lens that can be changed like a DSLR seem to have become the new trend in the last two years and considering the GF2’s compact size, you’ll certainly be impressed with the quality of specs that it boasts. It features a 12.1 megapixel live MOS sensor, a 3D interchangeable lens, 3-inch display which is touch supported and HD video recording via AVCHD.

Other notable specs include JPEG Motion Recording, Touch Q User Interface, Dust Reduction system, and a choice of silver, red or black colors.

If you’re interested in picking the the GF-2 up, it will be available in January 2011, while pricing has already been set for an unveiling during December.
