Toshiba’s Android Tablet Now in Europe
Toshiba’s 10-inch Froyo-based tablet is expected to arrive across Europe any day now. The Foilo 100 features a 1024 x 600 resolution screen, 16GB of internal storage, 1.3-megapixel webcam, mini-HDMI, USB and SD card-reading ports, and a battery life of up to seven hours. Although it runs on Android, it sadly does not have Android Market.
The Toshiba Folio 100 is available in Germany for €429 (without 3G) or €529 (3G-equipped, arrives in first quarter of 2011), Italy for €399 and €499, respectively, and United Kingdom gets the 3G-less model for £329. All prices include local sales tax. North American release, however, still is up in the air.
